    Hi there backyard Chicken enthusiasts;

    My husband and I now own 15 chickens (9 red shavers hens, 4 Easter Egger hens & 2 roosters) and we are completely bitten by the chicken bug! We are helping run our uncle's 40 acre farm, and so have plenty of time to hang out with our chickies. We absolutely love the wealth of knowledge and interaction with other chicken owners on this website, so made sense to join!

    Our Shavers are: Goldie, Dott, Pearl, Penny & Harrietta. Stella, Saffron, Gretta & Chiquita.
    Our Easter Eggers are: Olive, Bianca, Latte & Hazel.
    The rooster boys are: Rufus (still determening breed) and Sylvester (black sexlink)

    The Easter Eggers and Roos we saved from the side of the road, and the hens have thanked us with many pretty pink and blue eggs!

    We look forward to posting with everyone.

    thanks, it's nice to meet everyone!

    Spring is heating up and it is nice to be in shorts and tee again, been a long time coming after all the mud!

    Chickies are loving the dust baths too.
