Hi! From Southern York County, Pennsylvania

Hi! I'm new to chickens, this spring we got our first 8 chickens as chicks. We still have 8, on gimpy one with a bad leg.I'm not sure of the breeds. There are 3 predominately all white chickens (2 of which are positively roosters) and the others are white with copper and black colorings. We just got our first eggs today!

I found put about BYC by google searching information on chickens, I'm a newbie!
I am a wife to a wonderful landscaping man and a mother of 2 beautiful girls! We live with our in-laws and there are 9 of us total. We have 3 dogs and a garden. We love our home church and I love to sing.
Our chickens have been an exciting new adventure!

Welcome and congrats on the new chicken adventure.

Do the "roosters" crow? I would imagine by now that you can tell if they are roosters. If you need help figuring out breed or sex, just post with pictures and you will get immediate answers.
