Thanks for the add and Happy New Year to you all. I only have 4 hens that I acquired in the summer but am now totally addicted!!! I would like to get some more in the spring but will this upset my hens?

Chicken keeping is certainly addicting! Adding new chickens WILL upset the old flock and cause a lot of stress on you and the birds. BUT, it's still possible to introduce them. Here's an article on introducing chickens using the "see-but-don't-touch" method.
