Welcome to BYC. Type 'California' in the search bar at the top of the page. Locate the state threads, and perhaps someone there can help you locate some local birds.

Hi Lindsay. [IMG] You should do what sourland said, and locate your state thread. There may be breeders around you, or people who know where to get them around your area. Make sure to check out the learning center, it has lots of information. I'm glad you joined us!!

Nice to meet you Lindsay, Welcome to BYC. I think you would like posting on the "Silkie thread," just put that in the search box. It's a great place to get breed specific information.
