hi i have 4 button quails and my females wont lay

I got my quails from a pet shop and was told i had 2females 2males ive had them for around 6mths now and havent had 1egg they are fed well and have plenty of natural light.i also have budgies in with them and they go down to the quails eat their food and chase the quails around.could that be why they wont lay.i just dont no.

Hello there and welcome to BYC!

Buttons need to be kept one male to one female. You shouldn't mix pairs and you need to remove the budgies as well. There is too much stress going on and the females are not going to lay. You also need to give the females some hidy places to lay their eggs like an over turned flower pot or something.
