How bad was the injury? I live in Erie County, and the coons are terrible here. If the gash is more then 1 inch long, you will need to put the bird down. DO NOT EAT THE BIRD!!!!! Rabies could be present, but it is hard to tell..........................

Did you check the thigh area for wounds? If there is nothing, she should be fine.

I think she will be ok but I'm concerned because I don't think she has layed the egg yet that was in the x-Ray!!! It will be a week tomorrow!!!
