I'm new to chickens. I have a backyard flock of 4 hens.i have a heated coup for night and during the day they wander the yard and garden. I adopted the girls so all i know is 2 are young and 2 are a few years old. I get 2 to 4 eggs a day just in the last week. At least 1 everyday since the first day! I love learning more so any tips is appreciated.

Congrats on acquiring your new flock! Not sure where you're located, but most chickens are very well adapted to the cold and can tolerate temps well below 0°F. Adding heat to a coop can actually cause some problems and may not be necessary at all...

It's great you're getting eggs every day! If you're curious what breeds you have, you can always post some pics and start a new thread here:
