Hows things I just joined am just waitin to get my new chicks my sons crech is waitin for them to hatch I can't wait don't have clue were to start so all advice welcome a friend has a rabbit huch that I can have so guess I'll start there fingers crossed hope to chat to everyone soon

Thanks i have been reading a bit and am getting great ideas a have a cot from when my sons were smaller would that do for a brooder with a bit of ply on the botten and cardbord round the sides hope there all hens don't want cocks my 2 sons wake us up early enough as it is lol if 1 was to turn out to be a cock would it be ok to replace it for another hen

Yes, of course it's okay to replace any cockerels with hens. Welcome to the flock. A lot of people eat their excess cockerels.

Welcome Thomas! I'm new too, but am finding tons of information that is helpful!

We plan on eating any extra roosters in our bunch. They're all suppose to be girls, but I'm fairly certain one isn't.... time will tell
