    ...and I am a chicken addict. It started small; a co-worker gave me his 6 adult chickens that he didn't want.
    I had to rush out and buy a coop for them, no time to build.
    They survived the first 6 months and gave us delicious eggs and hours of delight watching them forage around the yard and clucking.
    Now it's almost spring (here in Texas anyway) and all the feed stores have cute little chicks for sale.
    I say to the wife "lets add a few new chicks to the coop". I come back with 3 New Hampshire Reds and 12 Guinea's!
    Now today I noticed our local feed store has Ameraucana's for sale. How cool.
    3 more chicks in the brooder. LOL!
    Anyway, I've been visiting this site for awhile and figured I'd join and admit my addiction.
