Welcome to BYC! Glad you decided to join our flock. Which area of Texas are you from? My wife and I were both raised in the great state of Texas. Mountain Peeps has given you some good links to check into. You might also try posting on our Chicken Breeders and Hatcheries section at https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/16/chicken-breeders-hatcheries, and on the Holland chicken threads at https://www.backyardchickens.com/newsearch?search=holland+chickens. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck in getting your Holland chickens.

I'm from Deep East Texas not too far from Lake Livingston. Glad to find BYC and have a chance to learn more about chickens and meet new people who love them!

Hello there and welcome to BYC! [IMG]

Definitely follow the links that were provided above. Do some chatting in your state thread with your chicken neighbors. Maybe someone nearby has some chickens for you.

Good luck and I hope you can find some birds soon!
