Hi I'm Ken. I live in West Virginia. I have 1 rooster (Rocky) and 3 hens. Its been 3 years since I got my first birds. I started with a rooster and 12 hens. I had a predator problem at first. A family of coons before I figured out how to handle them they killed 6 hens. Next was the neighbors dog she got my rooster and 3 hens. Now my coop is safe and I lock them up at night and haven't lost a bird in two years. So I bought 5 Chicks( Hampshires ) a few weeks ago. It's my first time with chicks hope I do a good job as mother hen.
