Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
We are completely new to chickens. Our kids' school has chickens and we have done a little with them at the school. We just got our first chicks today! A few more coming in a couple of weeks.
How many chickens do you have right now?
We have six now, but sharing some of these with friends. We plan on a flock of 8-10 once we have all our chicks.
What breeds do you have?
We will have Ameracauna, Cuckoo Maran, Buckeye, Silver-Laced Wyandotte, Barnelever, and Olive Egger.... We may have gotten a little excited about the varieties!
What are some of your other hobbies?
We are gardening - flowers, veggies, and orchard. Also have some koi and a dog
