    Hi! I am new to Back Yard Chickens. I have 3 chickens, but we are getting ready to add to our flock!

    Definitely check out some articles on mixing in new birds to the flock. It can be a tricky situation and needs to be done slowly to prevent aggression and disease transfer.

    Small flocks are so much fun. I had three chickens last year and it was so great. I was able to bond with each other them. But of course, more chickens are always great!
