Hello everyone,
I am just getting into the backyard chicken groove. I have wanted a coop for a while, but just don't have the cash, been laid off for a while, but still looking for ways to build with what I have. I have looked at a lot of your coops and you all are masters at building, I am going to try to do this on my own, as my husband isn't has syked up for this as I am so the more I can do myself the better. Once I get started he will get into it and and probably move me out and finish it, that is just the way he is.
I have a large shingled dog house the dogs don't use, so I thought I would start with that. I also have a 10 X 10 X 6' dog pen I want to use as well. I don't have any chickens yet as I want to get a great place built for them first.
