Hi out there! After talking about it for some time, my wife and I just got ourselves 2 baby chicks from one of her coworkers. We couldn't be happier! They're great fun and we're learning a ton every day. This website has been a great resource during their first 5 weeks and I figure now would be a good time to sign up and ask a few questions I look forward to learning even more!

Welcome to BYC! I'm sure everybody on here will be happy to answer any of your questions! Would you like to know what breed/gender your chickens are? You have two very cute chickens; you're first bird is a Barred Rock, but I'm not certain on the second one. It might be an Easter Egger or a Buff Brahma mix. Your Barred Rock is a rooster, but your other bird looks like a pullet.
