Im Labs and Chickens,

Im a breeder of champion Labradors for health & temperament, show my dogs, founder & run a 501c3 Lab rescue, a novice bee keeper, create habitat for critters, luna moths, monarchs.

Im retired, my boyfriend has a small contracting company.

We've lost 3 chickens in a year. We have 15 hens - Buffs, mutts, Americanas, & a Bantam rooster.

I love our nutritious free range eggs!

I joined because I want to learn to
* hatch chickens, raise meat birds and rabbits,
* find the best USA disease free mealworms for my mealworm farm
* DESPERATELY want to learn to can - mostly meat (and Im petrified!)

I'm looking forward to knowledge from seasoned folks, companionship, and different points of view in our shared passion.
