Newer chicken mama here, I got some chicks almost 6 months ago, they just started laying last month. My family and I decided to get some more chicks today. I always check this website when I have questions about things, thought it was about time I joined :)

G’Day from down under nataliechamers [IMG] Welcome!

Integrating chicks into an adult flock was a Topic of the Week and you might be interested to check out how some members do this: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/1126547/topic-of-the-week-integrating-chicks-into-an-adult-flock

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out [IMG]

Be sure to read up on integration before trying to mix the littles with the bigs (Teila has given you a good link to check out).

    Best of luck to you!
