We moved to western virgina and got a place with a chicken coop.

Now that it is heading in to spring we are looking at cleaning out and getting chicks and feeling over our heads, so I am here looking for insight

Hello & welcome! [IMG] Plenty of info to be had in the learning center and if you can't find the answer there, someone here will surely be able to help.

:hugs welcome, our run is divided into 3 large sections. We rotate the chickens when the run is getting run down, sandy, or bare. Chickens can turn a beautiful grassed area to dirt in a couple of days (depending on how large the sections are).
