Hello we are new to having baby chickens. We went to tractor supply and bought 6 chickens, Which I am pretty sure the sign said they where some type of red chick, I am not 100% sure so I am wondering if you guys can help us. My husband wants to order more that we know the breed, But 1st I want to know what I have. Thanks in advance. [IMG]

I know my local Tractor Supply has several kinds of chicks in their bin labelled "red" so those could be a few different kinds. Rhode Island Reds, Production Reds, Red Sex Link, etcetera. I would call them and ask them what all breeds are in their red bin, write the names down, research those breeds then figure out who is what as they grow up.
