Hi! I'm Kat and I recently moved down to my mother in law's, and she has chickens. She went out of town for a couple days and I was in charge of them, and I realized that I should probably get to know a little more about chickens. She's now put me on them all the time!
Our chickens are friendly with the next door neighbors, so we kind of each wind up with a couple of each other's chickens every night.
    I'm in Pierce county!

Nice to meet you Kat, Welcome to Backyard chickens. Do you and the neighbor share the eggs?

We each get the eggs they lay on our properties!
