My rooster's lower beak sticks out at about a 60 degree angle. He eats by sticking his whole face into the feed since he's not able to pick up individual bits. I've given him scrambled egg (which he loves) and oatmeal (not so much); any other suggestions? He's noisy and bossy, and otherwise healthy, but I guess I'd feel better if he had more meat on his bones. Does Ensure come in worm flavor?! [IMG]

I'm wondering if baby parrot food would put some weight on him. You wouldn't make that his entire diet, but mixing it up with scrambled egg along with his regular feed may be a good idea.
    Anyone else know?

Cat food is great for birds needing extra protein and they love it. It doesn't need to be his ONLY feed but will help fatten him up. I don't know if the bigger pieces will be easier for him to pick up or not.
