I'm thinking that I might have to get rid of Anne because I cannot afford to feed her. This morning she scrambled the three Silkie eggs that cost me $2,000+ to produce. She's a good woman, but her $1,000 breakfasts are more than the traffic can allow around here.

[IMG] Gosh that is pricy - I'll send you some D'Uccle eggs.... I'll only charge around $60 for a dozen.

    Then everyone will be happy!

LOL. I read the title and immediately thought "Oh no, here we go.." [IMG]

Why would Silkie eggs cost you that much to produce anyway?

Get a Sharpie marker and some tape, JoeBryant. If it's off limits, it should be labeled. Make peace with Mrs. Joe! Mr. Babe has been tormenting me for two years about the fact that I accidentally threw out some boat documents he had stored - IN MY CAR!?! I haven't strangled him because his neck is too fat - ha!
    This, too, shall pass!

My DH says that he could buy 10,000 eggs for what it is costing him to build my coop/run..."but mine will taste better dear"...

Quote:What layers ? All I have are ten chicks and a year-old Silkie that laid three eggs this week. I also have the coop/run from hell that's costing me 2K and still have a long way to go. Layers?
