It should produce Purple hens and Spaulding split Purple cocks. The cocks will appear like a Spaulding but carry the Purple gene. When bred that chick/cock to a Purple hen you would then produce both Purple hens, but also Spaulding Purple cocks.

Spalding is a cross between green peacock and purple peahen ... = spalding purple 50% !

    [IMG] .... it's a spalding purple 50%.

Spalding high percentage is a cross between a green peacock and spalding purple peahen 50% ! = spalding purple 75% ... It has not yet been created .... I have not seen a picture!

A spalding to white or spalding split white it's a cross between a green peacock (Pavo Muticus ) and a white peahen ( Pavo cristatus ) = a spalding 50% split white. ( look like a spalding blue/green ).

Guys you are mixing it, breeding purple male to spalding hen will produce purple daughters, NOT the opposite! Mating a spalding male with purple hen will produce all spaldings and just the males will be split purple.

Mating spalding to white all the chicks will be spalding split white.
