Good morning all! We've had our girls for 3 days now. I converted my kids old playhouse into a pretty cool chicken condominium. It was and is a great experience for our family. They are, however, having a hard time finding their water source (I put part of their run into our spring feed pond and created a pea gravel based water-hole). Should I worry or will they find it on their own? I don't really want to buy a commercial watering system. Your thoughts and comments are greatly appreciated.

What about adding just a plain old plastic chicken waterer, placed near their coop, to ensure that they find a source of water. Maybe there is some reason why they don't want to drink from the pond? Can you post a pic?

Thanks so much farmgirl!! They found the watering hole and there are no issues. Appreciate the advice though!
