G’Day from down under rockygirl1977 [IMG] Welcome!

There is a Duck Forum if your questions were duck related: https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/42/ducks

If chicken related, there are a few Forums and it depends on what the question is. However, if you go to Forum you will see the options of where to post:

You might want to say hello on your local thread also where you could get answers specific to your area: https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/26/where-am-i-where-are-you ‘Find your State’s thread.

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun. Unlike non chicken loving friends, family and colleagues, BYC’ers never tire of stories or pictures that feature our feathered and non feathered friends [IMG]

There are many videos(how too's) on the various threads and youtube where they have sound and narrations - which would take the place of needing to read info. You can learn a lot from them, and you can re-play them as needed if you forget something.

For example if you need advice on hatching - you could try the BYC search box and put " Hatching chicks video," to see what comes up. You can do the same on youtube.

    Welcome to Backyard chickens.
