Hill partridge Discussion

Hi all,

I wanted to know what other peoples preferences for keeping hill partridge. I have a pair myself based in the uk and they are nice and healthy ready for breeding season.

What are peoples aviarys, incubation methods, feed ect. As I have found very little documentation on these birds.

Also I have not yet seen anyone else in the uk with these birds so it would be great to know if there is anyone.

I know nothing about them, I've never seen them forsale here in the U.S., they are pretty birds! I would assume that they are not much different from other partridges?
After researching a bit, your pic looks like that one is a hen?
