Hiya, from Missouri !

I got a male and female swede about a year ago hoping they would be sweet and loving like my chickens...but
they aren't they hate me.

other then the fact that they hate me, I LOVE them they Crack me up! I'd like to get more ducks of a different breed and I was thinking, calls and I was wondering what any of you thought of them.

As others have said - head for the duck section. I know nothing about ducks but, the duck people should be able to steer you towards friendlier breeds. Did you get yours as adults or ducklings? Maybe raising them from day 1 would result in better results.

Sorry it's so late, (I don't get on the Internet much) I got them at a farm store as ducklings. Which maybe that's why they don't like me, ducklings attach to the fist thing they see and I wasn't the first thing they saw so that might be why. But then again it might not matter I don't know. Anyway Thanks for asking, drumstick diva! I did check out the Duck section it was VARY helpful, I'm definitely going to get calls.
