    Bardicshy New Egg

I don't own any chickens but I have been interested in it on and off.I like to think of them as fluffy raptors. Unfortunately I personally cannot own any chickens due to being a college student but perhaps my grandparents can keep some if they want to. I've been talking about it with them, and I think an uncle talked about it because of the eggs they provide.

I've looked at the city ordinances and we can keep chickens in our backyards.

I know how to build things so I can make the coop instead of buying one. I can build one for my grandparents if they ever decide to have chickens.

I like to look up how to take care of animals before getting one and I have a long time before I can actually get a chicken. In the meantime, I can always learn more about raising chickens.

You'll be an expert when you get your first chooks. Welcome to the forum.
  6. Welcome! One thing to remember is to make the coop fox proof. Also, try putting a clove of garlic in their water, to get them settled in once you get your chickens.
