Can someone explain this to me? DH was making an egg sandwich for breakfast and when he cracked one of the eggs open, there a broken rubberband! [IMG] Uhh...how? [IMG]

    No idea, but that's freaky!

Are you sure it wasn't worms? I know worms can show up in the eggs.

Yeah, I'd be thinking more along the line of worms. Not sure that a rubber band could make it's way into an egg. I'd crack open an egg (knowing myself I'd check more than one) that hasn't been boiled and check for worms.

I have heard of people inserting items into the hen for them to be included in the egg -- I believe it was a wedding ring that sticks in my memory. When the girl craked it and found the ring the guy proposed.
Anyway, I highly doubt anyone intentionally planted a rubberband in your hen's booty so....I guess you'd better check for worms!

No...it's a rubberband. He pulled it out and showed me. It is a tan rubberband and still mildly elastic. 100% positive! [IMG]
