They not really "mixed" but not really pure either. They would be red sexlinks. Which are in reality a cross "mixed'' breed. But are a common breed sold by hatcheries because they can be sexed when they hatch. Because they won't breed true in future generations they are not a pure breed. Only the first generation is sexlinked.
