Hi! I'm Panamommy from - Panama. I live about 6 hours west of Panama City, in the mountains near Costa Rica. I just this week became the proud mommy to four hens that we bought from our gardener. They are settling in to their new home, I think. Two are white and two are brown. All four are "Melo Specials", meaning they came from the local feed store. There are no "breeds" that I know of down here. They all will lay brown eggs - I have not seen a single white egg since I've been here.

Anyway, I have a ton of questions that need answering, so I'm off to check out the Learning Center and other places. But I'll be back every now and then, just to chat.
