From their site:
To help reduce the work load here at the Waterfowl Preservation Center, we are going to discontinue breeding Pilgrim, American Buff and Plain-head Roman geese. These are three of the most productive/egg-laying breeds of geese. By discontinuing working with them, the number of eggs that will need to be gathered, cleaned and incubated will be significantly lowered. This has been a difficult decision because these are breeds that we admire and have enjoyed working with for over 30 years. Admittedly, the decision was easier to make once we considered our sanity! If you are interested in these breeds, this is an excellent opportunity to acquire world-class exhibition and foundation breeding stock.
