Got part of my shipment today from Holderreads! They are alive, active, resting, and exploring the brooder. Cute little buggers they are! Is it female or male Welsh Harlequins that have a dark head and neck? I think I got 3 black Magpies/1 Blue Magpie.

The Harlequins it's the male with the dark head - will be a few months before it's obvious. :)

Quote:Ok. For some reason I thought you could tell by the color of their head when they were a few days old.

holderreads site says males have dark beaks and females have dark beaks. i believe if they look like they have been rubbed with charcoal they are silvers and the light down is golden. they are ridiculously cute!!!
