HOLY COW!!!!! Eggciting.....

  1. OK, this morning i had to help my #1 hen with an egg problem. She just stood on the ground trying to push out an egg. I sat with her for about 5 minutes 'coaching' her through he egg tactics...

    Here's what she gave me!!!!

    measured 4 inches long, 2 inches wide and weighed 4.7 ounces. OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I am sure it's a double.
     
  2. I do have a hen that is broody. Should i let her sit on it? I really dont need anymore chx! i have been trying to break her for a week or so.

    HOLY SMOKES! [​IMG] That's a huge egg! And you bought her a car for laying that! How sweet! She'll forget all about the pain of delivering that egg when she goes for a drive!
