I can't believe this, I'm freaking out! I had 2 duck eggs sightly larger than the other four, so I had asked a few days ago about twins and that I might possibly have one! Both eggs have internally pipped now and I can see both beaks in each one!!!

HELP! What do I do????? Are they going to run out of air? Both eggs have both bills in the air side of the eggs. Today is only day 24.

I know statistically they aren't going to make it, but this is only my 3rd time incubating and so far, my hatch rate is very high. I only picked 6 duck eggs off the ground at the farm last month, I was hoping at least one was fertile, but all 6 are shaking in their shells!!!!

I've never incubated eggs, but there is a video I saw not long ago on YouTube if a woman helping twin chicks hatch successfully. I can't remember exactly where I found it but if you do a Google search for "twin chicks hatching" it will pop up. Gooood luck! Keep us posted! I'm so interested!

Ok, so one of the suspected twin eggs has pipped internally and externally! I can see both bills pecking and hear clearly 2 different peeps! They have breeched the outside and have oxygen!

The other egg I think is twins has not pipped externally yet, but I see a lot of activity!

I'm on pins and needles!

There was someone else on BYC who had twin ducklings and they made it to hatch day only to die in the shell. She opened it up and they were fully formed and everything. I think she said there's either no or few records of twin ducklings hatching because of the way duck eggs are designed compared to chicken eggs.

Actually, I just checked and at least two people had twin ducklings that made it almost to hatching. You can google twin ducklings BYC and find them.
