I have two Bantam Brahmas. I put some unpopped popcorn kernels into my coffee grinder to make my own cracked corn. What I forgot to do was clean the coffee grind residue out of the grinder. Am I correct in assuming that coffee grinds are bad for chickens, even in a small amount? Also, would this be an acceptable method to use unpopped popcorn kernels if I properly clean the grinder? Thanks

Unless it was a huge amount of residue it shouldn't hurt them. Who knows if the taste or smell will turn them off to it. If you are just using it for a treat I would just give it to them whole. They have excellent ability to grind whole foods with their gizzards.
