I finished the homemade styro-bator! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] I have the PC fan in and working, the light(still have to get the right bulb), the temp. gauge and hum. gauge, the window, turner with egg carton, bowl for water....and i even got some pictures of it! [IMG] So all I need to do now is wait until Spring and then collect some of our hen's eggs. I can't wait! [IMG] [IMG]
I will post some pictures as soon as I can(maybe tomorrow).
Looking forward to my future posts about how the bator works! [IMG]

I'm right there with ya! We just got all the stuff to make our new homemade bator today. [IMG] We will all have to share pics of our little inventions once we're done.

Yeah!!! That's all I use...my 2 Prissy bators. If I have staggered hatches I use one to hatch and one to incubate!

OK guys here's the pics I promised! [IMG] The bator is lit up in all the pics, but I still haven't gotten the right watt bulb. The bulb that lights the bator in each pic is a 60 watt, which is WAAAY too hot for the bator. But i just wanted to turn it on so I could take pics! [IMG]

Here's a full pic of the bator from the side(air plugs are showing, light is on):

Here's the turner with eggs in it! I am not incubating them, but i just wanted to show how nice it looks with those eggs in it! [IMG]

    Turner at a different angle:

Full pic at a different angle. You can see the shadow of the case fan against the wall, under the turner's handle:

    Thanks for looking! [IMG]
