Homemade incubator using 5 -gallon fish tank.

I am just starting out have a 5-gallon fish tank for a incubator. Is it too small.

from Ohio. So glad you joined. What are you going to use as an insulation? Just using glass won't hold in heat very well. I would use some of those foam panels cut to fit the sides and one for the top but then is would be rather small on the inside. I made one from a foam cooler. You can see it on my page. I made one out of an aquarium. I didn't insulate it and it held temps quite well!! I followed this thread https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=374120.
