does anyone have a homemade pigeon feed recipe? I'm just wondering and thinking of feeding them a homemade diet because our closest feed store is 30 away and like an hour with traffic.[IMG]

Hi, i make my own feed. I get a bag of regular bird feed, without sunflower seeds and add a bag of soup mix to it. The dried soup mix will provide essential proteins in the legumes or peas and beans, the bird mix with corn is good carbs. You will also need grit. I crush oyster shells i get from my fish shop, and add to pigeon grit that comes in 50 pound bags. Also cuttle none is good calcium too.
