Honking big egg!!!

So my girls are new layers and I know it's normal for new layers to have glitches and what not but, DANG!!! This is the biggest egg I have ever seen a pullet lay, I feel so bad for that poor girls bum.

Usually they have a double yolk. I can't imagine the pain of laying that either. Ouch.

I'm thinking this may be a triple yolk. We have had some doubles snaller then this one.

You need to measure your egg. Ours is usually a double egg and the size for us is anywhere between 3 to 3 1/2 inches long.

You found out this would not fit in a carton or even close. I went through this many years ago so I went to investigate these eggs on the internet.

You might even have small tiny eggs that have just egg whites in them.

The ones that laid ours is either a sex link, Gold or Silver Laced Wyandotte, and Australorps years ago.
