Hey all! I got four lovely ladies back in june. 1 clever leghorn and 3 brown mixies (close to RIR, mixed with some sort of show breed)They are due to start laying around october 9th (Canadian thanksgiving! Be thankful for eggs!) and I love them so much, even without the pay of eggs. It's so much free ranging them, having their company and watching their silly behavior. They have a chicken tractor of sorts, and we move it around often. Fresh grass is tasty, apparently. Oh, and the run is 48sqft. Their coop is sandy yellow with an eggplant roof and folkart flowers on it... I'm artistic, Kay
! I was planning on entering it in the coop contest but I was **ONE DAY LATE!** gah. That was too frustrating... Anyways, it was time I joined since I am officially hooked, now that I just came back from a poultry show! [I was -thiiiiis- close to getting that chicken..] I cannot believe how adorable bantam seabrights are, lol! And some roosters are so gigantic! I love my hens and Im glad to be here
Adding pics soon, stay tunedxx
