I admit when my first bird started laying back in August initially having a little bit of an automatic gross out response just being reminded exactly how eggs work and where they come from, but incidentally the feeling wasn't more than just a passing reaction. And thanks! She was given some yogurt as a treat in celebration.

She looks like a Speckled Sussex!! They are beautiful and friendly birds!! I got my mom 5 for her birthday day a year or two back!!!

She is a Specked Sussex, yep! And she was about 30ish weeks when she started. My other Speckled Sussex started at about 20 weeks.
