Great picture. The little ones never seem to realize that they are little.

It isn't the size, it's the attitude.

Well, if Shadow is anything like my bantams, she will give everyone the what for. I have 3 bantam cochins and believe me those girls rule the roost! The boys pretty much won't tangle with them. If one tries, they usually lose a couple feathers and get chased around the pen. BTW, Shadow is toooo cute. Just wait until she goes broody. She will definitely hatch you out some little ones next spring!

I have this feeling that I will have more broodies than I know what to do with in the spring, Shadow included. Between the three hens I know have broody tendencies, the Delawares who come from very broody stock, and Shadow, I'll have my hands full. Hope you guys are ready to buy some chicks, LOL!

Quote:Ain't that the truth! Our Turken is smaller than our 9 week old chicks and she is a terror. Juvenile delinquent is more like it. She is comedy on two chicken legs!
