My issue is with the unclassified bantams I purchased from a feed store. 2hens - 1roo. We call them -the good, the bad and the ugly. THE UGLY has 5 eggs, THE BAD has laid 2 really soft eggs. Which we had to discard. The bad is really fiesty and seems to be the good's main chick. The ugly has a bare bottom and I am not sure if its cause she is picking at herself, or the bad keeps chasing her away from the roo. I DUNNO! Anywho, these 3 live in the same coop. Are the 5 eggs okay from all the drama? And how many eggs will this Ugly Bantam lay before she stops? If either hen strays too far, the Roo calls them in. Any suggestions, comments or pecks are very much appreciated. [IMG]
