What is your humidity with the 1588?? What part of the water tray do you keep filled for the first 18, then after?? My bator is driving me CRAZY

should say on the instructions... but i usually do the thinner strip that goes around the middle square, and then around hatch time i fill all the holes.. preetty easy to keep stable

I have a 1588 hova bator Gensis with automatic turner have
had no problem. instruction sheet said to fill C water zone.
for the first 18 days then
the last 3 days when u take out the turner fill the
T zone with water as the eggs need more humidity the last few days. I marked mine with a magic marker because its easier to see to fill but have my flashlight to make sure It correct. i aways use warm water to fill.and dont open the bator the last 3 ? 4-5 days..
my first hatch was 8 out of 9.good
    happy hatching.

my 1588 was set at the factory with a temp.. a temp..of 99 to 100 and i just left it and the hum. was at 50-55- when i saw it get lower
Iadded in 6 oz warm water if it was to high i took the red plug out for w hile then the last 3 days after i took the turner out and I placed the eggs on a small piece of rubber shelving. the white kind with the holes in it.
It kept them from rollong all over. i got the hum to 70-72
and it stayed there till they hatched.
    hope this helps.
