I'd love to have a well-rounded egg production in my back yard, with California Valley quail, chickens, and ducks. How many eggs could I expect to get from two or three adult Muscovy hens?

Thanks! Also, do I have to worry about them escaping from a fully fenced backyard with fence heights varying from 4 feet to 6 ft?

muscovys lay around 3 clutches a year of about 15 eggs. They can fly so that might be something to think about.

Does this mean that they are not to be expected to lay every other day for example?

Muscovy are brooders, laying until they have a clutch of 8-20+ eggs then going broody. Depending on climate, they are generally seasonal layers, breaking during the winter for a month or so.
