I currently have 12 mille fleur d'uccles. There are 6 males and 6 females. I am deciding on which 2 males to keep. I want to make a chicken tractor for the ones I keep, but I'm not sure how big to make it? There would be 6 hens and 2 roos, so what do you guys think?

I need to know specs for the 'coop' and the run, since my other tractors don't have 'coops'. I'm not sure how big to go! Thanks!!

The minimum would probably be a 4x8 to 4x10 run, but you may find eventually that you want to separate the boys. We have exactly the same ratio, and our boys now live in a 4x8 tractor since the girls were losing too many feathers to their amorous advances.
Here is my new tractor, complete with coop! I can share with you a detailed set of plans. With these plans, you can pretty much keep it around $100 for materials.
If you use them and like them, you can paypal a donation to my chicken feed budget...
