How big should the pop door opening be for ducks in their house?

How big are the ducks? I might say about 1-1 1/2 foot tall X 1 ft wide or so.

The door is currently 1 ft wide and 16 inches tall. Maybe good enough? I think I'm getting runners.

The door for my runners is 24" tall by 18" wide.

If it's not tall enough, they can "duck"!!
