My tom struts all day. He struts all night. BUT. . strutting is ALL he does. After 2 months of infertile eggs, he needs to figure it out or he will be dinner. I have 2 hens, one of which was a great producer last year. Lately, she has been seen looking out of thew pen towards the road where the turkey hunters are calling. . . They are all in with my chickens and the roosters are doing what they do best in order to clue the tom turkey in. Any ideas?

I wonder if it would help to separate the turkeys from the chickens. Maybe the roosters are more dominate hindering him from doing his job. [IMG]
  3. in turkey mating it's hens choice, they won't mate until the hen lays down.
