I'm not sure I ever had it in my possession. If I did, it was in my baby book that was lost about 20 years ago.
My mother is no longer living and my dad is pretty senile. My sister thinks I was christened, but she doesn't know for sure.
I may have been christened in the catholic church in Miami, where all my sisters and my brother took their first communions, but it could have been before that; before we moved to Miami.

This is bothering me and I want to find out for sure. Where do I begin my search, by contacting the church in Miami?

Yep, start by contacting the Miami church. If they don't have it, they may have records of your prior church.

Yes, ask them to search the records from the 1940s. If they don't have it, they may be able to point you in the right direction.

Yes! Check the church in Miami. If you were not Christened their, hopefully your mom and dad filled out registration papers when they became members of that parish. If they did it would list the church parish they attended prior to registering in Miami.
